Beginning in January 2017 (Chrome 56), Google’s Chrome browser will mark HTTP pages that collect passwords or credit cards as “Not Secure”, as part of a long-term plan to mark all HTTP sites as non-secure. The current version of Chrome as of 1-17-2017 is v. 55.0.2883.87 m.
In order to avoid the “Not Secure” warning all websites will need to have an SSL certificate installed and load via HTTPS rather an HTTP.
Fortunately there are now numerous free or very low cost SSL certificates available from multiple sources.
Anybody who might like some help installing an inexpensive SSL can PM me for assistance.
(If you are currently a Mobius web client I will be in touch to discuss details.)
